No doubt, but I think it far more dramatically has to do with the nature of eink displays, designed for slow refresh to achive stable static text display, and tablet LCDs, designed for fast refresh to accommodate movement.
I.e., an underpowered LCD tablet will likely still give a better browsing experience than a super-charged eink reader.
