BD: Around these parts, we usually refer to e-book reading devices as "dedicated devices" or "dedicated readers," as opposed to "eReader," which, as Jon pointed out, is the proper name of a particular e-book format (like MobiPocket and ePub, etc).
Of course, Jon is aware that outside of these parts, calling these devices "eReaders" is fairly common...
