@Terisa the beta changes the default font on windows from MS Shell DLg 2 to Segoe UI to comply with Microsoft's recommendations. If you prefer the old font you can always change it back via Preferences->Look & Feel.

I'm not sure what you mean about series -- there are absolutely no changes there.
