Amusing... and true!

Hi all,

of course, there is heartache when buying something and finding the price drops a short time later - ask anyone who has bought any piece of technology!

The sentiments voiced here are accurate: pay your money, and enjoy your purchase. I do, all the time.

Now that I am a full 53 and counting (for some considerable time to come, I hope), I look back on the technology that I grew up with and what I have today.

How extraordinarily cheap it is! And what it can do - so easily! - staggers me. I just read a preview of a story sent direct to my phone by Amazon, and now I know enough to avoid that author for a while. An unimagined facility even a few years ago.

I am very much looking forward to my first ereader. All I need do is decide which one... <smile>

Cheers,
