I love the 600, but I'm not sure how effective note-taking with it would be. I've found the stylus note taking to be a bit sluggish, and wouldn't want to take extensive notes with it. Don't expect to take notes on books as easily as you would a paper textbook, at least.
Maybe I'm just doing it wrong? *shrug*
