Sorry to revisit this topic but I'm receiving the same 'protected page' error on my Sony PRS600 on two borrowed epub items. I've tried all the suggested solutions (removing all pdf files, then re-trying), plus I've deauthorised my Reader, uninstalled the ADE software, reinstalled and reauthorised, plus I've tried copying directly to an SD card, all to no avail. The infuriating thing is I can open the books on my computer directly from the Reader, it's when I try to use the Reader on its own that the error appears.

Amicalement,

Fred
Perhaps a stupid question but is your reader 'authorised' to read these books - i.e. with the correct PID ?
