I have both a nook and a Sony PRS600 and I can say the nook leaves the PRS600 in it's dust. The Sony looks more robust but the nook has the best screen and that is what is important. After using the Nook I find it hard to go back to reading on the Sony.

I don't know anything about the PRS300
