The very impressive thing about southern Québec is that it regularly reaches 30⁰ in summer and -30⁰ in the winter, which drives complaining about the weather a national sport. If you drive 4-5 hours to the north though, you are saved (and in a very beautiful region, too
)

39⁰ here today when the A/C stopped working, and about 33⁰ in the house before I realized it. Norton was panting like a dog, which I suppose is understandable. I turned the system off and restarted it and it's working now, but at 6:00 we were both in the pool cooling off and the wife was out shopping for fans.
