Thank you! That confirms what I was afraid of but definitely gives me some options. I have been all over the internet, many searches based on this site, and missed that thread.
I like the nook and think it is a good fit as I use it extensively with local library, however, you can't seem to beat Kindle for free or cheaper content many times.
