Just two doubts:

1. The description said it is real leather (cow), but it smells strangely. What do you think ? Is it really leather or artificial one ?

2. The lid is kept closed by 2 magnets on the right upper and lower corners. It's very nice, but could the magnetic fields damage the eInk screen ?
the funny smell was an issue in some covers a couple of years ago. sometimes leather isn't tanned as equally as other leather. put your case outside in the sun for a few days and it should go away. or return it and specifically mention the smell. remember these items are being made in third world countries. people are checking stitching not the smell. probably don't notice the smell anymore as it is.

the magnets are just fine
