My computer background is exactly the opposite of yours. I've used only Linux (
Slackware) at home since 1999 and two months ago I purchased a PC with Windows 7 installed (to watch Silverlight streaming videos). To me it seems quite a bit more complex than my Slackware PC (I'm using the
Openbox window manager). I still get lost trying to find various settings/options in the Windows 7 Control Panel.
