Thanks again! It's finally working.
Now, I need to fix qemu: the emulated DR shows in a window that cannot be resized, so that I cannot see the whole bottom part of the screen. Any chance that you have stumbled upon this issue too? I've been trying to mess with the std-vga parameter, to no avail.
