Hya Vicki. Good to have your company. I'm your age and, like you, my eyes ain't what they used to be. I can get by with regular text with my specs, but the facility to increase font size is a huge bones and makes reading twice the fun. Really, you don't need to spend a packet. There are some fine devices at reasonable prices out there that will suit you, and, being in the US, there are no geographical restrictions at the major ebook stores to fuss over. I'm very happy with my Sony, but it's a matter of horses for courses, so do check out the *Which One Should I Buy?' forum before making a choice. Please let us know how you get along.
