Oh, a user got this bad side effect because he installed the app on iLiad's main memory, it's described in the GNU Chess Reloaded thread.

For those who don't know what this libX11 thing is:
It's a patched library which decides when the screen get's an update.
Without adding lines for screen refreshes in src, the ported app refreshes screen.
