I've got the daily edition and love it!! I don't have a kindle so I can't really compare the two, the link Geoff gave you will help, and there is also a nice
comparison matrix here as well. I got the Sony for the touch screen and the fact that it let me read more types of books from a greater number of sources. I don't have any complaints except that the Sony library software is not really good but there are nice alternatives to it like Calibre.
