Pit Bulls are not by any means the most likely dogs to bite, but because they are so powerful, when they do bite, folks tend to stay bitten. It doesn't help that there are swaggering and often negligent owners desperately compensating for their own insecurities actively encouraging the worst behavior of which the breed is capable.
How many stories have you read of pit bull attacks, and when the police arrive they find the animal chained in the back yard with no water?

She NEVER goes outside unless she's on a leash and her mom or dad are with her. And what a great guard dog she is, she's afraid of plastic bags!
