Even here in the US I don't sit out in the full sun but stay in the shade and I still find that my eInk screens are far better than any LCD (including the iPad) for reading. JMO, of course.

Australian Magpies are not the same as the ones in the Northern Hemisphere.
This is our devil bird, and they're decidedly evil in spring.
