Who needs an OS other than a geek who loves machines more than the content...

Computers do many things but tend to obliterate the tasks at hand by seizing too much of attention away from the user. I, like many, prefer to forget the machine in favor of concentrating on the tasks. On the PC I tend to waste half my time wrestling with windows and updates for all the necessary leeches. Since I got the iPad, I took a little time to analyze time involvement with computing task maintenance versus actual use and it came down almost fifty/fifty. With the iPad, maintenance issues fell off drastically. Of course there are drawbacks with limits but so is driving a vehicle; as long as you get there on time...
I'm not a computer buff, I just learned to use them as I went from the necessary evil care and tending but I stop there. With the iPad things are much simpler. It allows me to do more in shorter periods with less emphasis on the machine and less cursing...

Yes, it's a great painting demo. I've seen it on ipadforums.net.
I still can't master the finger painting yet. Some of the things this artist does in this demo need explanation. I'll learn it by trial and error I guess...
