Yes we've all seen the videos from Seattle, but there was no good juxtaposition of older and newer tech.

Sri said it was closer to 12:1. They can make up whatever numbers they want though...it doesn't have to adhere to any objective standard. Further, that contrast number makes a lot of assumptions that do not necessarily play out in the real world. The real-world text contrast of E-Ink is nowhere near what is achievable under ideal testing conditions.

I'm happy for Mr. Dulin, but I'm not prepared to take anyone's word for it that these are a significant or even particularly noticeable improvement. It's not hard to take a photograph, so I hope we'll see a few in the coming weeks.
