I just came back from a vacation in the sun. I had my PC and my e-ink eReader (iRex and Sony) with me. My plan was to work on my photos on my PC on the afternoons when I wasn't piloting the boat. Didn't work. Couldn't see the screen well enough even under a bimini. It was a hard life - it just meant that I had to read my e-ink display instead. Much as I love my laptop I sure don't want its technology as my reader. Was that ever brought home to me last week.
