It's not a fact of course that e-ink is superior to LCD because it's easier on the eyes. That's my opinion, and I believe the opinion of many people who've tried both. That's why people market the e-ink devices as e-ink. Because people associate ink with paper and therefore less eye strain. Check out the Nook copy on their site: "The most advanced E ink® Vizplex™ electronic paper display
reads like the printed page." I don't think iPads are using the same selling point with LCD and for a good reason. It would be ridiculous!
