But why assume that anyone takes control? This is what Clastres teaches us; humans do not wish to be controlled, and are willing to give up many things rather than submit to authority. I'm not convinced that will happen in the scenario under discussion. This assumes 'normal' society ?
The armageddon scenario assumes society breaks down, similar to the book "The Road" ... How much of the book is likely to be true? (I suspect more than we'd like to think ..... )
