As Happy said, Andy, do take a little time to check out the *Which One Should I Buy?* forum. Where you are and the type of books you want to read makes a big difference to the effectiveness of the device you hit on.

If you're -- like me -- mainly a novel reader with eyes that ain't what they used to be, and need no fancy bells and whistles. There are many good, easy-to-use, reasonably priced options out there. And that you (apparently) are in the US means that you'll face no problems with geographical restrictions when you decide to download a book from an online store.

Seems to me you're pretty fortunate, Andy. Some of us outside the US need to jump through hoops like performing circus poodles.

Good luck with your choice, and happy reading. Best wishes. Neil
