Dead Forever: Awakening

Imagine a world where death is merely an inconvenience. An impossible dream for Carl Brown, plagued by a recurring nightmare of a plummeting craft and his fiery death. Then as always, he wakes to a miserable life with barely an identity--he suffers from amnesia, which includes forgetting that his lengthy past was stolen by an immortal enemy. And the bad guys have plans for Carl--reduce his body to ashes and pack them in ice. When he's rescued by an oddball crew who claim to be fellow rebels, the borders of reality are tested, and who to trust is anyone's guess. Carl endures a wild ride as he enters a world unlike all he knows--except he does know. The foreign life is his former life, before his inflicted amnesia. And his name is not Carl. He learns of a past stretching lifetimes spent fighting his sworn enemy, when not enjoying a rebel lifestyle of drunken parties, outrageous laughs, and plenty of flirtatious women, one of whom is a member of his rebel team. Beyond rising sexual tension, we explore the subconscious, dreams, and a strange reality where bodies are manufactured and childhood is obsolete. Sad to remember his one undying wish--to someday be a child again. First he'll have to remember how to reincarnate.
