Yes and no.

Calibre works fine to organize all your books, no matter where they're from. Just use its "add book" feature to import them into your calibre library.

However, when you buy books from Sony, they're DRM-restricted. You can't use them on anything except specific devices authorized by Sony -- your PRS-300 and your computer, most likely. In order to read them on, say, a Nook, you'd have to strip the DRM. For legal reasons, we can't talk about that here; however, Google is your friend.
