so ummm I gave in to $149 Nook Wifi and am waiting patiently for it to arrive.
From lurking and reading other posts here, I gathered that the screen on both and some features are virtually the same. Someone said in other post that it was a sidegrade and not an upgrade and I totally agree. So my main reason for switching is the future firmware updates (4 already in the last 6 months) and the abilities to be soft-rooted. I loved my 505 even though I only used it for about 7 months. However, the idea of no more firmware updates from Sony made me panic. So there I did it. I hope the Nook turns out to what I hope it to be and more.
