thank you for performing some necromancy on this thread - which made me actually find it.
I started reading it from the beginning on, since I was interested IF there eas someone else apart from myself, wondering why until now no one of the case maker for devices actually offers a model with solar cells on the front cover - wouldn't it be great?

well until now I haven't actually found an answer, but I have a very joyful time reading.
I think it'll lead to a kind of karma spree.
