hello everyone,

i really don't know if it's the right place/forum to ask for this but 1° on Apple forums they don't have the answer 2° there are a bunch of very qualified people here !

i would like to use AIM software on my Clie
fine
but i'm currently using my .mac address as screenname, which works fine but only with iChat : iChat IS AIM-compatible but not the .mac address per se
if you try to use the .mac email address in other AIM apps (for instance AIM form Palm) it doesn't work, presumably because of the "@" symbol ;
of course i can create a new , genuine and ubiquitous screen name, but i would lose my contacts
so i would like to keep the one i have, and my question is : is there a way to write my .mac email address in a certain way to make it compatible with any AIM software ?
i don't know, maybe by replacing the "@" symbol with another one, by adding something before or after ... i don't know, but maybe YOU do know
