The aroma of the flowers of the Magnolia grandiflora, a tree that grown from S.E. Virginia to Central Florida and west of there to Texas, is one of the most pleasing scents on the planet. I used to pass by one on my way from work, and whenever they were blooming I would stop to smell them.
