He gets the oil from tuna cans along with a bit of tuna on a semi-regular basis. Outside of cheese, tuna is his favorite food. I believe it's the frequent pool dips that are causing his itching. That and the fact that it's been a terrible season for fleas. I put some Frontline on his collar and harness where it won't wash off so easily, but even before we started going in the pool this year he was having problems with fleas. Next month I'm switching to Advantage to see if that works better. In the meantime, I have a flea shampoo that I bought from the vet. The baby oil really seems to help the dryness, though. I've also started spraying him down with the hose after swimming to remove any chlorine residue.
