Here's what kindle readers/reviewers (none of whom I've ever met, honest!) are saying about New Coastal Times, my quirky, seriocomic novel about the aftermath of cataclysmic global warming:

New Coastal Times is hysterically funny with lovable characters and a thought provoking concept of what may well lie ahead for our world. A definite must read for everyone! – mskiti (USA) May 7, 2010

The story line is definitely believable and the characters very likable. I didn't want the story to end. – D. Lockwood (Kerrville, TX USA) March 13, 2010

This is a great book...Though the book deals with some serious issues and raises many interesting questions (such as the role of faith in our lives and how disaster changes that role), the author in general uses a light hand to deal with those issues and questions. The characters are quirky and fun. You'll be glad you get to know them and sorry to let them go when the book is done. -- Annie B “booksrule” USA March 10, 2010

The combination of comedy and a plausible Armageddon must be very hard to pull off, but this book managed it…While reading it, I kept thinking; "It could very well happen that way." – R. Larkin (Philadelphia, PA) June 7, 2010

I honestly didn't expect much from this self-published book, despite the reviews. I thought it might end up being corny or trite. Not the case at all. I was thoroughly engrossed in the book from the very beginning. The premise, though fiction, is frighteningly plausible.—D. Figueroa “DF” (Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico) May 22, 2010

I've got to say I was blown away by New Coastal Times. It grabbed me from the beginning and kept my interest throughout. I had a difficult time putting this book down…The writing was wonderful. The characters were well-developed and interesting. I think that this author has a wonderful future, and I strongly recommend this book.—kindle addict (Connecticut) May 10, 2010

This is a post-apocolytic story that is so apropos for today…Great writing and story.—Karin Lib “avid librarian” (Philadelphia, PA) May 1, 2010

I knew this story would be about hurricanes and other natural disasters, but the most pleasant surprise I found was the refreshing humor that's woven throughout the tale. The characters are wonderfully flawed and really came to life on the pages…Excellent work by this author. I truly enjoyed it and will look for more.—Ginger R. Henderson April 26, 2010

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was believable, possible, and no Zombies…This book made up for all the duds I've picked up. I truly felt that I was on the journey alongside the heroine.—V. Viti (RI) June 15, 2010

New Coastal Times has garnered a Five Star average rating (12 reviews) on Amazon and is priced at just $2.99. Also available on Smashwords and barnesandnoble.com
