I mainly want to say that I joined this forum because I've been here a couple of times to look for information, but never joined because I didn't need to post, always found what I was looking for without doing so. But I have been so impressed by how helpful and kind people are here that today I thought I ought to join and contribute what I can.

Of possible interest is that I'm 78 years old so I date from way way before computers and the Internet. I'm a well-published author who got sick of the perverted world of traditional publishers and agents and so haven't published anything for a while. As you can imagine, the ebook phenomenon has liberated me! I'm in the process of learning all I can and preparing to launch a bunch of stories and ebooks, some through Smashwords, some just on one of my websites.
