I'm liking it, but not as much as the Kindle. I think the annotation capabilities of the Kindle are better, easier, and more accurate. In many cases, it's difficult to select the last period in a sentence on the 600 without also selecting the first word of the next sentence; but my main beef is that it truncates the text when importing it into my PC. Is there a workaround for that? Other than that, it's a wonderful reader.
The Nook is getting better, but it's still a distant third to the Sony and the Kindle. The most recent update finally added a "Go To Page" feature. I find that having a separate touchscreen at the bottom is not a plus.
