Actually Denmark did start out quite well. But after the first goal, the shortcomings of the offence of the team was all to obvious. They didn't really get any open chances the entire game. Bendtner got no chances at all and that other attacker (Jon Dahl Thomasson) can't hit a football if his life depended on it at the moment.
The sad thing is that even though the goalie clearly had a part in both of the first Japanese goals today, reality is that none on the Danish team has played well in this championship. Hard to go through from the group play, when that is the case.
