No one has mentioned the Nook's swipe to turn a page. This is so much more natural to me than having to press a button for a page turn. Admittedly it takes a minute or two to figure out how to do it right, but once you get it, it is so much better than a button push.
And then, of course, there is the ability to read public library books and the multiple sources to find books to buy...
