For current owners, I agree that the incremental improvements of the Vixplex display and corresponding change in the device's exterior are not compelling enough reason to trade up.
But for me, someone who wants to buy their first e-ink reader, it's a frustrating time right now. I just can't pull the trigger on the PRS-500 when the PRS-505 and Cybook Gen3 are just around the corner with the newer displays.
