So Windows Mobile Device Center complains that I don't have outlook and while it establishes a connection and partnership, the connection drops.

If I tell it to connect to my device without setting up a partnership, then it appears nicely.

I don't want to put it in regular usb mode because I'm trying to get Visual Studio to allow me to use the activesync/mobile device center so it will show up in the device manager of VS so I can deploy and debug.

Has anyone been able to get this device hooked up with Visual Studio? I assume I'm limited to the Mobile Device Center with Windows 7 (don't think I can use activesync anymore).

At the moment, it's like the ancient days with no interactive breakpoints and debugging, LOL. I code, compile, then drag my exe and dlls over and drop them on the device, then run there and test it.

Any help on getting Visual Studio to be able to see this thing would be appreciated as it would give me modern interactive debugging capability and speed things up.

I never had any issues with the canned Pocket PC as it integrated right in with Studio.
