I'm getting my boox ready to exchange for a non vampire version and noticed something unexpected.

I removed my 8g sd card which removed all books from the recent documents folder except the one on the top of the list. This book was on the sd card but I can still read this book on the boox even with the sd card removed. I guess it keeps the most recent item in some cache memory. Do most readers do this?
