Thanks for the replies, I did the gupgrades and still the same situation. I cannot hook up to computer with a USB cable, but everythng else works. I pretty much bullied Newegg for a phone number and the customer service folks at Etacvo were very polite and told me ship it back with a copy of my Newegg invoice, and the problems and corresponce with their tech support and they would send me another or replace the failed chip. . Wow. I hope it is so...Would post a happy face, but the links are no longer available.
