And more to the point, this freaking thread is all about discussing the chance of the word being used outside of Mobileread.
So why is it wrong to argue over those odds? That's the whole point of the thread--whether it can or should catch on. Some posts earlier were delving into personal attacks, and the warnings were warranted there. But I don't see any in the discussion you were having with Kenny just now.
Also, most other sites have a policy of moderators not being able to act when they're in the discussion as it's kind of crappy for a member to be having a debate with a moderator and have them threaten them with action when the debate gets a little heated. The policy is for another moderator to intervene if needed. Now if he'd directly insulted you etc., then it's fine as that's a black and white rule violation. But for a heated debate that I personally see no forum rule violations--comes off as taking advantage of the position to me.
