Just to be clear, do I need to register to use the nook outside of US for reading my own epubs and pdfs? Does the missing registration cause any problems? Can you skip the registration at all?

Also, I looked at BaN few minutes ago and for a basic account registration they don't seem to reguire adress or credit card number. Just name and email.

Thanks for a reply, with the yeasterday announcent of cheaper wifi only nook I am seriously considering getting it as a friend of my flies to the US in a few days. I live in Europe.
