Due to Australian pricing I've bought most of my paper books from Amazon US for over 10 years: if one bought them a boxful at a time, with the cheapest shipping, they were much cheaper than buying them locally with a far better range than available in Newcastle.
Which makes the geo restrictions on ebooks even more irksome, and pointless.
