Look at it this way---I am in my early 30's. When my 3-5 year old students saw my iPad, they assumed it was a phone, because a pretty, shiny screen you can touch which was all your stuff on it is a phone, right? Meanwhile, when *I* was 3-5 years old (which wasn't so long ago), the reality of my world was that you could only make a phone call in certain rooms of the house because the phone was PHYSICALLY ATTACHED TO THE WALL...
Some of my students have never, ever lived in a world where appliances had to be attached to the wall. The only thing attached to the wall in their house is the wireless router...
