I had an opposite type of experience happen. I had gone to another building on an errand, passing the staff parking lot on the way - where I saw employee X getting out of his car and walking into the main building at around 10:30. I even waved hello! Later that morning employee X called me and asked to have his time clock record changed since "he got here at 8:00 this morning and forgot to clock in."
