I'd agree with that. E-readers aren't well suited to anything that requires flipping through and skimming--especially e-ink readers with their slow page turns.

Be it wanting to flip back to remember something as in your example in the first post, or trying to do any type of work/reference reading where I need to be a able to quickly flip through a book or document to find a table, quote I underlined etc.
