when my kids and I first moved here, slugs were a new experience for us. I knew little about them and couldn't help but associate them with leeches in my mind. the day I returned the rental truck I had left the kids home to supposedly start unpacking their rooms. they were standing outside with my daughter hiding behind my son. "look Mom!" he said!!! out stepped my daughter in shorts and a tank top with slugs attached to just about every bare part of her body
