There's an other trick. Poohbear_nc, close your ears. Crushed eggshell is an excellent deterrent when spread tightly around the base of plants. Don't let loose leafs touch the ground.

I have frogs at the pond, but they don't seem to be interested in hanging out in the garden. I also keep forgetting to pick up ladybugs and worms just for general garden health
