I have way too many weeds IN the garden. We're putting in a new irrigation dripper this week. The leaker hoses had to go. Technology that never really worked. We got the hose/pipe laid this morning. Tomorrow morning when it's below 100, I'll go and put the drippers where I want them. Yeah, I'll probably get a few wrong, but I'll get it right eventually. I hope this saves some water and STOPS watering some of the weeds.
Spent about 35 on the irrigation parts so far. That means...each of the large tomatoes harvested cost...with the chicken manure, the pump for the water barrels...*grab calculator*...About 15 dollars per tomato!!!!!
Let's hope I get some cantaloupe and watermelon to bring down the costs...
