NNR, I would recommend that you consider a device with a TFT screen. I prefer the TFT screen of my jetBook Lite to the eInk screen of my Astak EZReader. I find that the text of the JBL is blacker.
Other TFT devices are the jetBook and the Aluratek Libre.
