Even a Word file can be full of crap. But at least there are much easier ways to eliminate the crap from a Word file then it is to convert a PDF. Because the crap in a Word file does not mess up the text, just the formatting.
But still, there's no excuse for starting off with a PDF file for the other eBook editions. None at all.
